Chess Camp

Chess campers, from beginning to advanced, receive expert instruction and strategies that help them improve their game. Competition is friendly. With a tournament at the end of the week, chess campers get to see how much they have improved their skills. Medals are awarded for finishing 1st , 2nd or 3rd place.

 

Chess campers maintain the same daily schedule as music campers (chess lessons instead of music) and participate in the same recreational activities.  They even have the opportunity to try an instrument and play in the concert in Transfer band/orchestra/guitar/piano/voice (a separate band that begins Wednesday afternoon)!
